Accessibility Statement
Last updated: January 1, 2026
ThriveBreak is committed to ensuring digital accessibility for all people, including those with disabilities. We continually improve the user experience for everyone and apply the relevant accessibility standards to our website and services.
1. Conformance Status
The Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) define requirements for designers and developers to improve accessibility for people with disabilities. It defines three levels of conformance: Level A, Level AA, and Level AAA.
ThriveBreak is partially conformant with WCAG 2.1 Level AA. "Partially conformant" means that some parts of the content do not fully conform to the accessibility standard. We are actively working to identify and fix any remaining issues.
2. Measures We Take
ThriveBreak takes the following measures to ensure accessibility:
- Include accessibility as part of our mission statement.
- Integrate accessibility into our procurement practices.
- Provide continual accessibility training for our staff.
- Assign clear accessibility goals and responsibilities.
- Employ formal accessibility quality assurance methods.
3. Features of Our Website
Our website includes the following accessibility features:
- Keyboard navigation: All interactive elements can be reached and operated using a keyboard alone.
- Skip link: A "Skip to main content" link is available at the top of every page.
- Semantic HTML: We use proper heading structure, lists, and landmarks.
- Alt text: All meaningful images include descriptive alternative text.
- ARIA attributes: We use ARIA labels and states where appropriate (e.g., FAQ accordion, form steps, language toggle).
- Color contrast: Text and interactive elements meet WCAG AA contrast requirements (4.5:1 for normal text, 3:1 for large text).
- Focus indicators: Visible focus outlines on all focusable elements.
- Reduced motion: We respect the
prefers-reduced-motionsetting and disable animations for users who request it. - Language toggle: Content is available in English and Spanish, with proper
langattribute updates. - Form labels: All form inputs have associated labels.
- Responsive design: The site works on mobile, tablet, and desktop devices.
4. Known Limitations
Despite our best efforts, some limitations may exist:
- Some third-party components (such as embedded forms or payment processors) may not fully conform to WCAG 2.1 AA. We are working with our vendors to improve this.
- Some PDF documents may not be fully accessible. We are working to remediate them or provide accessible alternatives.
- Some images of products may have complex visual content that is difficult to describe fully in alt text. We are working to improve this.
